The Bheemunipatnam or Bheemili Beach is perfectly positioned where the Gosthani River meets the Bay of Bengal offering a spectacular sight.

The ancient Dutch bungalows, ancient cottages, ruins of a 17th-century fort and the cemetery built by the Dutch can be spotted here from which it is evident that the place was once a Dutch settlement.

The Pavuralakonda hillock surrounding the Bheemili Beach was once an important Buddhist Centre.

The Red Church that dates back to 1850 and the Andhra Baptist Church which is more than 130 years old are the popular attractions of Bheemunipatnam or Bheemili Beach.

The small shrine dedicated to Lord Narasimha, the lighthouse that dates back to 1868, Maharaja's guest house, clock tower and St. Peter's Church are the other attractions near the beach.
